Description
Session 1: Who’s your best match?
Find out which types are most compatible and which types have the most conflict. If you understand how you will interact with each personality type you’ll have a clear view of why you make the decisions you make, and what you’re really looking for in a mate.
Understand your own relationship style –– for conflict, for expressing your needs and for showing love. Once you understand yourself you can see how each type will respond to you and why you have had the successes and failures in the past when it’s come to making connections.
Start dating any type. How to spot the type you want to date and how to get that person interested in you. If you are the best version of your type, you will attract the type that’s best for you.
Session 2: Make any relationship work well with clear communication
Stop trying to change or get your partner to change. Knowing personality type helps us resist the temptation to try to change someone. Because for each of us, it is much healthier for us to develop within our own personalities than to try to fit ianto the image of another type.
Discover the real reason you picked your partner and you’ll like them better. Personality types comes in packages. So the traits that initially attracted you invariably go hand in hand with the traits of your partner that totally annoy you.
Create more connection by understanding what you’re sick of. Often the thing we hate about our partner is what we least understand. Finding empathy for their weakness makes the relationship much stronger and dependable for both parties.
Save your relationship. Most relationships fall apart because people don’t see each other clearly. In many cases, spouses would be stunned to hear that their partner is actually being the best version of themselves. It doesn’t look like what you’d expect, but it’s manageable if you understand.
Session 3: Deal effectively with conflict in a relationship
Reconcile differences. Understand the ways each person expresses love. Each type asks for love differently and each type wants to give support differently. You can get much more connection from your partner when you understand how they give and how they receive.
Stop overvaluing your way of seeing the world. The four criteria people use to make decisions are harmony, authenticity, effectiveness, and accuracy. Each personality type has a clear preference for one criteria, and most of us assume everyone shares our own criteria for making decisions.
Create harmony by pinpointing the things that annoy repeatedly. Each personality type has recurring communication issues that annoy their partner over and over again. You will understand these issues so well that they will become a source of humor instead of conflict.
Use personality type skills to negotiate effectively with anyone. First understand what makes you difficult to talk to. Hot-button issues are predictable based on personality type. You and your partner can negotiate in a way that communication lines are clear and no one walks away because both people feel understood.
